1. If you are a good home nurse, what are the various home nursing techniques that you need to apply that will make the patient feel comfortable and speed up the recovery?
-Help the patient and understand his/her recovery. Always put a smile on his/her face so that the patient will feel better, and also the patient's medications should be taken daily.
2. Why should the home nurse monitor the vital signs of the patient?
-So that the home nurse will know what are the affect on the patients sickness, and will be reported immediately to the doctor.
3. How do you take the body temperature, pulse rate, respiratory rate and blood pressure of the patient?
-Taking the body temperature should be carefully done in the thermometer and make sure that the tip of the thermometer shouldn't been touched. The pulse rate, this is taken by holding the wrist of the patient and count on how many seconds is the beating of the patient's heart. Respiratory rate, this is taken in a relax manner, start the timer then count how many times you breath and stop at the one minute mark. Taking your blood pressure is done by using a sphygmomanometer and a stethoscope.
4. What are some practices that the home nurse must follow that will promote comfort to the patient?
-Making the patient cool & clean, and always asking what the patient feels everyday.
5. How will you differentiate signs from symptoms of illnesses and diseases?
-Signs from symptoms are just signs makes you feel ill while diseases are signs that your body needs a recovery.
6. If you are the doctor, what will be your basis in giving the diagnosis for your patient?
-For me, my basis should depend on the patient's sickness. And I'll make them a diagnosis where in they'll be cured.
